The Gospel of the Resurrection of Jesus
Sunday April 20, 2025 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui
Matthew 28:5-7

"But the angel answered and said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.'" Matthew 28:5-7

Do Not Be Afraid

The angel's first words to the women echo to us today: Fear freezes, but resurrection frees. Even when your week feels like it's falling apart, remember-Sunday is coming. The Kingdom of God is here. Are you afraid? How do you deal with your fear?

You Seek Jesus Who Was Crucified

Jesus is not stuck on the cross. We often stay in our pain, shame, and failure-but He's not there. Meet Him where He is, not where He was. Are you seeking in the wrong place?

He Is Not Here. He Is Risen, As He Said

Because He rose, we can rise too. Death is defeated, fear is finished. "For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him." (2 Tim 2:11) Where do you need to rise today?

Come, See the Place Where the Lord Lay

The tomb is empty-and so can your fear be. You may remember the place of pain, but you don't have to live in it. Are you living in your pain?

Go Quickly and Tell His Disciples

The resurrection isn't just news-it's a message to be delivered. Don't stay where He rose. Don't live where He already moved on. Go share the living hope. Do you?

He Is Going Before You Into Galilee

Jesus always leads the way. He's not behind you in sorrow-He's ahead in purpose. Just like in Deut 31:8 and Exo 13:21-God goes before His people. Are you going forward to meet Jesus?

There You Will See Him

Galilee was the place of calling, miracles, and commissioning. You will see Him where your faith journey began-but now with resurrection eyes.

Declaration for Every Believer

I will not stay where Jesus has moved on from.
I will walk forward by faith, because the King has gone ahead.
This is the Gospel of the Kingdom-resurrection life, now and forever.

Who Wants to Live?

Not just survive, but live with purpose, power, and peace. "Because I live, you will live also." (John 14:19). The tomb is empty. The King is alive. Will you follow Him into life?
