Stewardship
Do All for the Glory of God
Sunday October 12, 2025 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui
1 Corinthians 10:31

"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." - 1 Corinthians 10:31

Stewardship of the Body and the Glory of God-Chapter 5

"Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?" (1 Cor. 5:6)
  1. Paul begins with a serious warning about sexual immorality in the church.
  2. Pause: How is your private life glorifying God?

Stewardship of Behavior and the Glory of God -Chapter 6

"All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any." (1 Cor. 6:12).
  1. Today, we often say, "It's a free country." That's true legally-but freedom without wisdom leads to bondage.
  2. Pause: What "lawful habits" have begun to control you?

Stewardship of Marriage and the Glory of God-Chapter 7

"But as God has distributed to each one, as the Lord has called each one, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all the churches."1 Corinthians 7:17
  1. Stay faithful to your calling-married, single, or widowed-and glorify God right where you are.
  2. Pause: How does my relationship status glorify God?

Stewardship of Relationship and the Glory of God-Chapter 8

"Beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak." (1 Cor. 8:9.
  1. Stewardship of a relationship means using liberty to lift others up, not to assert our rights.
  2. Pause: Do your choices help others glorify God-or confuse them?

Stewardship of Influence and the Glory of God -Chapter 9:

"Though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more." (1 Cor. 9:19 )
  1. Paul defends his apostleship but chooses humility over entitlement.
  2. Pause: Are you using your freedom to serve-or to be served?

Stewardship of Daily Life and the Glory of God -Chapter 10

"Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." - 1 Corinthians 10:31
  1. Paul ties everything back to daily life: What you do every day matters to God.
  2. Pause: How will I glorify God in my eating, working, and daily habits this week?

One Application:

  1. Choose one routine task (e.g., morning commute, mealtime, cleaning) and consciously dedicate it to God's glory all week
